Assessment
A full case history and the diagnostic tests your situation calls for: otoscopy, pure tone audiometry with bone conduction, middle ear assessment, and speech testing where appropriate. Longer appointments mean nothing is rushed.
Hearing aid repairs, servicing, reprogramming and aftercare in London for all major manufacturers, whether you bought your devices from us, from a high-street chain or anywhere else.
The short answer
Appointments are longer here by design. Your audiologist takes a full history, examines your ears, and runs the tests your situation actually calls for, going beyond standard pure tone audiometry where needed.
Results are explained clearly on the day, and you leave with a personalised plan: whether that is treatment, monitoring, a referral, or the reassurance that your hearing is normal.
Aids that cut out, crackle or will not switch on are often resolved in clinic with cleaning, new filters or servicing. Where a manufacturer repair is needed, we handle it and can supply a temporary replacement.
If speech has become muffled, tinny or simply different, the cause may be the device, wax in the ear canal, or a change in your hearing. We check all three rather than guessing.
Persistent whistling usually points to fit, blockage or programming. Your audiologist examines your ears and the devices together, then corrects the cause rather than just turning things down.
Many of the people we help bought their aids from a high-street chain and simply want unhurried, qualified aftercare. We welcome devices from Boots, Specsavers, Scrivens, Hidden Hearing, Amplifon and others.
A 15-minute online telehealth check covers troubleshooting, settings queries and whether a repair appointment is actually needed, saving you a trip when the answer is simple.
Once again I am truly grateful for Dayna's expertise. Again, £75.00 well spent. Dayna is still the calm, friendly, kind and skilled professional she was when I last saw her. I am always apprehensive about the process of ear microsuction but I needn't have been. The procedure was comfortable and pain free. The results are great.

The audiologist who treated me was absolutely top drawer. Her name was Dayna and she gave me an appointment the same day and removed a considerable amount of wax from both of my ears using microsuction.

Cannot recommend highly enough. The service is excellent and the audiologists are extremely proficient. Will not go anywhere else in future.

Our fees are published and explained before you book, and every recommendation is independent: we are not tied to any hearing aid manufacturer or sales target. We are registered providers for major private medical insurers, and we supply the reports and invoices your insurer needs.
Everything starts with a thorough, unhurried assessment. We find the underlying cause, explain what we found, and agree a personalised plan with you, then stay alongside you with follow-up and aftercare.

Your audiologist walks you through the results on the day, in plain English. Whether we identify a problem or can reassure you that your hearing is normal, you leave understanding what is happening and why.
Independent, evidence-based recommendations built around your hearing, lifestyle and budget: treatment, hearing technology, onward referral, or monitoring. We are not tied to any manufacturer, so the advice is yours, not a quota.
Care continues after your appointment: follow-up visits, fine-tuning, repairs and reviews, plus reports for GPs, ENT consultants, schools and insurers where needed. Our aim is the long-term outcome, not the transaction.
Our focus is clinical outcomes, not retail sales. Clearly Hearing is an independent clinic: no manufacturer ties, no sales targets, and appointments long enough to listen properly, investigate thoroughly and explain everything in plain English.

FAQ
Yes, we welcome devices bought elsewhere, including from Boots, Specsavers, Scrivens, Hidden Hearing and Amplifon. We support Phonak, Unitron, Widex, Oticon, Starkey, GN ReSound, Signia and Bernafon. Bring your aids in, or start with a 15-minute online check if you would rather not travel first.
We aim not to leave you without hearing. Where a repair means your devices go away to the manufacturer, we can supply a temporary replacement aid for the interim, programmed for your hearing. Many faults are resolved in clinic on the day through cleaning, servicing or reprogramming, without any wait at all.
Yes. Sound that has drifted often comes down to settings, blocked filters or a change in your hearing itself. We service and reprogram all the major manufacturers, and if your hearing seems to have changed we recommend a repeat assessment first, so the new settings match your current prescription.
Not always. We offer 15-minute online telehealth checks, which are ideal for quick troubleshooting, settings queries and deciding whether a repair visit is needed. Home visits are also available across London. For physical repairs and servicing, the devices do need to reach us at one of our three clinics.
It depends on the fault, the device and whether a manufacturer warranty applies, so repairs are priced on enquiry. We tell you the cost before any chargeable work begins, and if a warranty repair through your original provider would serve you better, we will say so rather than charge you.
